AirPlay quality question

MLS Live has AirPlay support for the iPhone and iPad to the AppleTV. Will there be a quality difference if using AirPlay from an iPhone 4 or iPad 3?

iPad 3 i believe because it has 5ghz wifi antenna. I'm streaming and HD stream from my 4S right now and it SUCKS.
 
Thanks for the info. Does the quality automatically get adjusted depending on bandwidth?
