Thinking about getting a atv2 for air playing videos. I have a 4s. Can i air play basically anything or only some stuff. For instance the nbc app can i air play the full episodes on that app. Please let me know. MOst movies that i have on my networked Hard drive are 1080p would atv2 be the right choice for me.

You can stream anything to your Apple TV using iOS if you have an iPhone 4S.

When you double click the home button and swipe right (media controls and orientation lock) swipe again and you'll get volume and an AirPlay icon.

If you activate this, you will mirror your iPhone. So everything you do, every app you use, video you watch and photo you view, will appear on your TV!

As for the Plex questions, as far as I know, no. There isn't a way to achieve this.

The concept of mirroring is awesome but in reality it reminds me of the sega genesis type graphics. Watching an hd movie being mirrored is disgusting. I have been looking at the boxee box as it can play many formats in 1080p. Plus I hear it can also do AirPlay though I might be wrong. I love the savvy style of the ATV2 but it really can't do what I want it to do. Right now am leaning towards the Boxee Box.
