✅ Resolved: The 10.15.4 Supplemental Update resolved the problem.
Since updating to 10.15.4 I can no longer use my iPad in Sidecar mode or over AirPlay, as the color profile rendering distorts as soon as the second display connects. Manually choosing different profiles shows momentary improvement in usability (still inaccurate colors) but quickly reverts. The secondary display, iPad or TV, has an accurate color profile and rendering, and disconnecting from the display will sometimes revert to the correct color rendering, but usually requires putting the laptop to sleep and waking again. I’ll attach a video of the behavior. It doesn’t appear to be an issue with the profile because a screen recording shows no change in color, it appears to be an issue with how colors are rendered.
Has anyone else had this issue? Reported as FB7654217 to Apple.
