Airplay Skips

Anyone else have skipping or delays while using Airplay with IP4 an ATV. I have consistent delays which get annoying after awhile. My wife seems to not have a problem with her IP4 which has me stumped

I use pandora mostly but it also does the same with the music on my phone too

I have a lot of trouble with what I assume is RF noise. If I use the microwave oven while using airplay (usually from a Macbook, but also from an iPhone or iPad) the audio will break up and eventually cut out entirely. Only after I shut off the microwave does the signal resume.

Proximity to the wireless base station can be an issue too. I have found setting the iPhone on the wireless box provides a much better signal than if it's across the room.

If you live in an apartment building, you may be getting your signal messed up the your neighbor's use of microwave ovens or other RF noise creating devices.

I used to have this problem alot. I lived in a block of appartments and the problem got worse as more and more people set up wifi in my building. Switched my wifi from 'g' to the newer 'n' and problem solved.
