Hi All, recently bought a pair of Airpods 2… after connecting to my iPhone, realized the case battery drained quickly… contacted Apple support to help resolve the problem. They sent a link and the VERY bottom of the support in fine print, Apple recommends to remove any paired airpods (any generation) and pair the new ones. First, that should have been at the very top in the manual to lessen complications. In any case, removed device from my iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPad Pro second gen, 2015 iMac and paired again. The case might last a full day at full charge, or drain quickly and then have to recharge. Thanks in advance for assistance.

Probably like mine the case battery is shot.. as soon as I unplug the case would die.. I started to notice the pattern of my earbuds didn’t charge right like it was getting the low battery warnings while plugged up turns out the case was the issue.

Thanks, guess this is not an isolated issue. I am surprised that these batteries in the cases even got past Apple’s stringent quality checks… off to my local Apple Store for a replacement of the battery of the whole case!
