I have 2 questions I've had for a while that I haven't seen about these scenarios here, or really anywhere.

First, sometimes when I take my airpods out of the case, they'll drop from 100% to 99% within 30 sec or so. Anyone else notice that, is it normal, is it just a timing thing (meaning its at 100 for a while slowly going down to 99 and I am taking it out at the low point)?

Lastly, I noticed that when I charge the case to 100% and unplug it, it'll drop 4-5% over like 10 hours or so, but once I use the airpods and recharge them, then the case will only drop 1% or so over the same time span (after the airpods are back to 100%). It's like its misreading the battery level from 100-90ish%. I'm going to try discharging everything and resetting but was curious if anyone noticed this too.

Both are more out of curiosity than anything else. Thanks to anyone who replies!

Same thing happens to me. I also got mine wet (washed them in wash machine) and theyre working just fine. I was afraid my battery was ruined, but it does the same thing yours does. I can leave it unplugged and unused for a week and my AIrpods will be at 100% and case at 60% or so. No battery degradation at all.
