So, I use a pair of steinhauser over ear wireless headphones for my TV. I am hard of hearing so if the TV is loud enough for me it is way to loud for everyone else. The headphones have their own volume so even if I turn the TV sound to 0 I can still blast my headphones or just augment if other people are watching.

If I were to connect my airpod max headphones would the normal sound still be there for everyone else or would it go only through my headphones?

My second question may be specultary but I already have to homepod minis and soon I will be able to set them as the full time speakers for the apple TV. Is it likely that the apple TV will be able to send audio to both with their own volume control?

Thanks!!!

Edit.. I do not own airpod max headphones yet. Trying to decide.

I believe that there is no way [currently] to have sound go through the AirPods Max as well as the HomePod Minis. I could be wrong though.
