The red exclamation mark problem in the white battery summary box seems to be solved or at least seems better.
It sounds to be me like they tweaked the EQ in this is firmware.
I found them very mid range heavy on vocals and guitars and found myself using the Latin or jazz eq to smooth out the mid range frequencies.
Today when i was listening I thought i might turnoff the eq to see if they changed the eq profile and to my surprise it was set to flat.
I must have turned it off at some stage and to me it sounded very pleasing and not at all mid heavy and maybe even a bit more in the bottom end.
What do others think?
It seems to have a bit more bass and less harsh in the upper midsHow is the BASS ? I hope it is not Toned down with the Firmware Update ? Or is it also ?
My Main Complain with Airpods earlier version, it just did not have enough BASS !!
It seems to have a bit more bass and less harsh in the upper mids
No I’m saying with this latest firmware update today the bass seems to be a bit more enhanced than they were when I first got them out of the box.You are saying this in general even before the Update right out of the Box when it comes ? Or are you saying after the Firmware Update it has started sounding more BASSY ?
i also don’t always like the adaptive eq when anc is on as it reduces low frequencies on your ears.
one other good thing with adaptive eq is with a bunch of mid range vocals and backups it can clean all those frequencies up in your ear
Yep it’s built into the AirPods pro not Apple MusicAdaptive EQ is an Airpod Pro thing ? Or Setting that comes in Apple Music ?
