So how many generations of the Airpod Pro exist now? Google search is just giving me reviews of the 2019 version. Apple just dropped the 2nd Gen? I have the 1st Gen I think then? Was there a huge improvement? Anything upgraded? Besides Firmware?

There is only one generation of AirPod Pros being sold at the moment. Only rumors exist for a second version.

How come APple's website says "new" under Airpods Pro?

Maybe it's a placeholder for the new ones that will be released. There is no second generation yet available.
