I can connect my AirPod Pros fine to my iMac (Late 2013) with Catalina, but it doesn't give me the options for Noise Cancelation/Transparency/off when going to Volume under Output Devices.

It shows my Pros connected, but it doesn't give any other menu or option to turn any features on.

Is my iMac not compatible?

Here are the compatible iMacs from the AirPods Pro tech specs. Seems you should be okay as far as that goes but I have no other info to offer.

  • iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012–2017)
  • iMac (27-inch, Late 2012–Late 2013)
  • iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, Late 2015–2019)
  • iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014–2019)
  • iMac Pro (2017)

Are you looking in the right place for the controls? It took me a while to find them. It's not in the Bluetooth preference pane or Bluetooth menu bar item. It's under the volume menu bar item. Click on that, then hover over AirPods Pro and you will see them.
