What do you mean? They seem to charge in the little white floss box (has a usb-c on the bottom the way it looks. I think you just have to figure you will keep the floss box in your bag and put them straight back into it when you take them out.

..... Uh, nope. The AirPods charge using the little steel contacts on the ends of their bodies (at least that's my best bet).

And what did you mean by asking about the issue of "losing" them? Isn't the solution as simple as not losing them?

Do you want to make the Apple Watch larger and the battery life smaller (assuming you would use this theoretical charging functionality)?

This is already "solved" in the design of the AirPod's themselves. The case recharges the AirPods and gives what is effectively days of real-world use (Most of us aren't going to listen to 24 hours of music straight without stopping). When you're near an outlet, you plug the case in with a lightning cable.

The watch itself won't last nearly as long as the charging case for the AirPods will, so charging from the Apple Watch makes no sense.

Wondering if anybody would be interested in buying the product I am currently getting manufactured, it will be ready for sale in a couple months. It holds a power bank that simultaneously charges the Airpods as well as the iPhone itself. It solves two main problems.

#1 being that they run out of battery relatively quick, #2 being how easy they are to lose. This Case is the first case to ever simultaneously hold bluetooth earbuds in the back of a phone case while using a power bank to charge them and make sure they're always at 100%. Imagine going on a run, you take your bluetooth earbuds out of you phone case holder, then when you're done you put them right back in and they immediately start charging again, This case will ensure that you never lose your bluetooth earbuds and makes sure they're always at 100%.

I posted concept drawing to better understand the purpose. These were not the official CAD drawings used for manufacturing, those are confidential.

In having a case like this you would be adding what, .5" to it? That would be like carrying an old Nokia around. Good idea in theory, but in practice I dont know. Its not something I would consider just due to how big the case would need to be.

I think the case they come in works perfectly and have never had a worry about losing them. The battery on them at least for my use case has never been an issue, I dont typically wear them for more than 1-2 hours at a time.
