It's just the notion that the danger zone for having your AirPods nicked revolves around the case, when I think it's far more likely on the street getting mugged or something.

Indeed, perhaps some form of bonding agent to securely affix the AirPods to our lugholes might be in order.

Of course then said mugger would have to lop off our ears to get their hands on their ill gotten AirPods, that combined with the charging difficulty as we try to cram our lobes into that tiny little case.

Yes, I've not thought this one through, back to the drawing board it is then.
