I know it’s designed to hook in the ear but does anyone prefer it over the rubber tips that more sink in the ear? It’s no noise cancellation but do you prefer that if something happens around you?

I’m considering selling my 65t and getting AirPods 2 regular.

Also will a 5watt charger damage AirPods? I’m guessing it’s supposed to be charged via usb connector on the pc.

Tried different chargers they all work fine. No damages noticed.

In ear offers better sound, standard Pods are letting a lot of surroundings through. Some like this, others not. Apple has a return policy so try them and return them if they’re not to your taste.

Have all thee to date. IMO APP blows the others away in fit, sound and features. Once again, that’s my opinion. Also, if you need to hear the environment around you, transparency mode works great.

If you’re trying to decide between the AirPods 2 & AirPods Pro, the latter gives you the best of both worlds - Transparency mode let’s you hear the outside world, but then you can easily detach from most of those noises with a very well implemented Noise Cancellation mode.

For the added flexibility of the Pro’s, their comfort deserves to be tested - test out the rubber tips extensively for 2 weeks & see if they’re for you.
