Hey everyone,

I'm upgrading from the 6 Plus to an 11 Pro Max this Friday and will unfornutely be losing the headphone jack. I own a pair of good in-ear and would rather switch to wireless than have a dongle around.

Was wondering if getting the AirPod 2 was worth getting now or if there are rumors of a new one coming this year? I would like to wait for a version that has noise cancellation and some water resistance if that's something they would be doing.

If you are looking for a "good" in ear - closer to audiophile quality, the Airpods are not for you. However, the flexibility and ease of the Airpods makes up for a *lot* of sound quality shortcomings.

That being said, rumors are for new airpods coming out, but potentially at a higher price point and that might mean noise cancelling. If you want lower price point Airpods, pull the trigger now.

Noise canceling and the AirPods design doesn’t mix m. Don’t get why people thinks these rumors are true. The AirPods are open by design and let’s sound in. There is no deal thus having ANC would be useless.
