Airpods 2 Double Tap Play/Pause

Hi guys, I just received my new AirPods (gen 2). It's been work almost flawlessly, but I just have one question to ask you guys. For my airpods, the double tap play pause can only pause a youtube video, but I can't double tap again to restart a youtube video. Is it a youtube problem, or should I take it into the apple store and ask them to take a look? Because as far I know, the double tap play pause works flawlessly in spotify, iTunes, Apple News. Any suggestion or comment would be greatly appreciated.

(BTW, my airpods's model number is A2031 and it's on firm version 1A671 and hardware version 1.0.0)

What browser are you using? For me the play/pause on Youtube works fine in Safari and doesn't work at all in Chrome.

I use the youtube app on my iphone, and I just test the youtube website on safri and chrome and it both play pause without a problem on my iphone 7.

Alright, I guess it could be my airpods's problem. Would you find telling me if your airpods are first gen or second gen. And what IOS version are you running it on. Thank you

2nd gen AirPods with iOS 12.2

You might want to try uninstalling and re-installing the Youtube app. That has fixed funky problems for me in the past.
