Use Beats Studio 3 over the ear headset while at home, considering purchasing AirPods for the times I am away from home.
For infrequent use and a first time user, would the AirPods 2 be a reasonable purchase ? I am seeing some $99 deals for President's Day (wired charging case is not a problem for me) and thinking about buying.
Thank you for any input.

The only reason I got the AirPods Pro was because of spatial audio. The 2's have it also but you might want to wait to see what the new ones will be about or not. Just keep in mind the audio will not be like over the ear but they are not bad.

The 2's don't have SA - the 3's do.

To @eedoxies - I think they would be a good purchase at that price point. I don't get along with the AP's sit in the ear design, they feel like they are going to fall out all the time but others really like them like that i.e. like they are not there.

I have all of the AirPods since gen 1. The AirPods 3 are similar to gen 2 in wear feeling but have a much better sound. I wear them the most.

The 2's do have spatial audio since iOS 14 or 15. My sister has the 2's and spatial audio.
