I use my airpods at work and stream sirius va bluetooth dongle. I never had an issue with the first generation but now with the 2nd generation any time I pause and then start audio again it defaults to the highest volume. Then if I lower it it reverts all the way to 0.

Anyone else have this issue?

That would drive me nuts. I just got mine, haven't experienced that yet. On a side note... I always thought that Apple should lower the volume to half way if the last time you used a device you left it realy loud. Sarting out loud can be very jarring.

yes, I'll be listening at say 40, pause and the start again and its at 100... It wont register changing to 100 on the computer but that is what the airpods are playing at. Bizarre

I'm also experiencing this issue, but haven't found a solution. I stream via Spotify, so part of me is wondering if it's related to non-Apple Music apps, because I don't recall it happening on phone calls or anywhere else.
