Airpods-2 wired or wireless ??

So guys I do not have any of the latest iPhones but I do have a 2018 iPad Pro 11" and I want to buy Airpod-2 to watch videos and listen to music on it ? So I do not have a wireless charging thing. Nor the mat nor any iPhones. So should I be taking a wireless charging Aipods-2 or the wired one ? What makes logical sense ?

use the wired one, I dont have wireless charing mats so for me it was not worth the extra cash.

I got the wireless ones because I have the mats all over the house and office. You can still plug them in so I can charge them either way.

If you will never have a need for wireless save the extra money and go regular case.

As of now I do not have the need for wireless but I don't know if I would never require a wireless in future also !!
