Hello,

I got AirPods for the first time yesterday. I’ve never had them before, so my first time with AirPods. I have a cellular Apple Watch. I took the airpods for a spin today with the watch, and this happened:

- song with start fine. After about 2 seconds it would cut out. I would stop the song and then a few min try again. I’d get happy when it would start but only to cut out later.
- i thought maybe it’s the cellular data but i tried with an audio book which was already synced to the watch and same thing.

Then I got a FaceTime audio call whilst doing this, and had a pretty clear happy 30 min conversation. So it wasn’t the cellular data.

During this time, my battery drained signifcantly on the watch.

Is something up? How do i fix this, has anyone else noticed this issue before?

Reboot the watch if you haven’t done that already.

Thanks - I don’t know why I didn’t try that. I did and later went for a walk and turned my phone on airplay mode to test the cellular part of the watch with the AirPods. Seemed to work fine. Battery drain has been fine too.
