Hello guys,

I have an Airpods 2nd Gen that were in a box after an apartment move and wasn't use it for a while. After found it, connected to the charge with an amber flashing light.
After a while charging, the light changed to green but still flashing.

I read in the internet that you need to reset the airpods. Forget from Bluetooth and press and hold the back button for 15 seconds but nothing happens. Still flashing green. When charging the case and the airpods became hot.

At this moment, pressing the buttons do nothing and the iPhone just don't recognize them.

Any recommendation? Are the airpods still alive or this is a problem without a fix?

So the light is constantly flashing green even when the case isn't connected to a charger? What does the light do when the case isn't connected to a charger and you remove both AirPods from it?

The light is flashing green with the case connected to a charger and also with the case desconnected.

When i desconnect and take off the two airpods, the light is green without flasing but after 5-10 seconds it just turn off. When i put in an airpod (just one) the light begins to flash green again.

Ok, so it definitely sounds like it's an issue with one of both AirPods themselves (does it matter which one you put in for it to flash green?). I know some of what you've already tried is listed here, but see if there's anything you haven't here:

I think they a dead. The green light flashing is still there and this night i just let them there with all charge and in the morning the battery was totally drained.

Something happened while the storage. Weird but well, no more airpods for me in the future.

Thank you for your help usagora!
