I still use my earpods because of the remote. I can easily skip or pause a song, and by far my favorite feature: adjust the volume of my audio without touching my device.

I’m interested in buying the AirPods 3 because of the spatial audio. There has to be a way to adjust the volume by tapping or touching the AirPods 3, right? If not, why would Apple not include this in such expensive pods? I will be using them in the gym for example, with my iPhone in my locker. I’m not going to ask Siri every time I want to change the volume of my audio. I’m also not buying an Apple Watch to go with my AirPods. How does Apple expect people to do this, or how do you guys handle this?

Also, I use Spotify. Does the spatial audio only work with Apple Music or do Spotify users also get the pleasure of spatial audio?

Is the sound quality of the AirPods so much better then the earpods in general? Or is it better for me to wait untill Apple adds the volume adjustment feature? And if they will, can I just upgrade the firmware of the AirPods then or does it come with the next generation of AirPods?

No physical volume adjustment on the AirPods. You can ask Siri, use a watch, or use your iPhone. It’s a trade off for being able to leave your phone in your locker (which is undoubtedly not possible with the wired EarPod).
