I have a lot of trouble getting a good fit with AirPods. I just tried pros again, and I just cannot use them - I get an almost instantaneous headache (from the pressure in my ear I think).

How are yall finding the fit of the regular 4s?

better than the AirPods 2 IMO. almost feel like i'm not wearing anything. the ANC is great for not needing silicone tips which are uncomfortable to me. YMMV

WAY BETTER than the PRO. I agree with the post above, "Almost feel like i'm not wearing anything"

The AirPods 4 are not as comfortable as the AirPods 2 which is the reason why I returned them and continue using my AirPods 2 which truly feel like nothing is in my ears and I wear mine all day (8 hours a day)

Everyone’s ears are different. The 4s with ANC fit my ears way better than the 3s I used before. The fit was greatly improved for me, but like I said, everyone’s ears are different. I can not wear the pro AirPods as I can not tolerate the in the ear canal thing.

OP, our ears are all anatomically different, so your best bet is buying them from a place with a good return policy and trying them out personally. Or pop into a shop selling them and try them on? Fitting a person X or not fitting a person Y will not apply to you.

Yeah I guess. I wish my Apple Store would allow you to try them. I can’t think of any store where I could try them first.

Only way you can know is to try them. My 4s with ANC fit way better than my 3s. Everyone’s ears are different.

I’ve never tried 3s, but pros are awful for me. The 2s are okay.
Yep, when I heard that Apple was changing the 4s to make them fit better, I thought how can that be with everyone’s ears being different. I lucked out and the actually do fit better for me. It is just luck, unfortunately.

I love the fit of the 4s. I hate my AirPod Pro 2s and was so glad to dump them. I find the 4s the most comfortable of all except maybe the originals.

Wore the 4s ANC out today, took a bus. They fit really well, but the noise cancellation could be better.
I mainly use them for listening to ambient stuff at night, for which they are perfect.

I had AirPods 2 and now I have AirPods 3. AirPods 3 don't fit me as well as 2 and sometimes they even give me headaches, I wanted to switch to AirPods 4, do you know if the change in shape is interesting or minimal?

I wouldn't use them in noisy environments, so I would rule out ANC. Can you confirm that apart from the lack of noise cancellation on the 4 model, the audio quality is the same as the 4 ANC?

Apparently there is a bass profile difference, as noted in this video:
