hi all!

I have had my AirPods for a little while now and I noticed when I opened them that they didn't look as sleek as I thought they were supposed to. Please look at these pictures and tell me if yours look like mine.

This first one especially looks kind of jacked up to me.

Thanks for your thoughts on this.

Judging from your first picture, it appears that Airpod doesn't look like it was evenly assembled and then bonded together with the adhesive. Your second picture I can't really see too much.

But there were some initial reports on the AirPods when first delivered, customers were saying how the adhesive looked dirty in between the seems of where the AirPods were assembled together. So perhaps you just received a pair of Airpods that were sloppily assembled.

My Pair appear fine. I think it's just a matter if you can live with the construction of the AirPods or not. Fortunately, it doesn't have any affect on the performance.

Mine are similar.

I thought people were being over dramatic when they made posts about this. Then I got my pair, and wore them. My left pod is ever so slightly misaligned, and it has caused some irritation. Mind you, I wear mine for 2 or more hours at a time.

It's not enough of a problem to disrupt usage by any means, but I am mindful of it. I'm considering filing it. Shouldn't effect performance, and I'm definitely not selling or sharing them.

they seem to be misaligned and i need to check them again, if they are even well sealed (glued). i see a black line (through or not) when looking at the "crack".

I'm on my second pair already because the first was way too misaligned in my opinion. Black lines are still visible but not as bad as before.

If the crack is open, the moisture gets inside ("rainy" day).. better to check that they are well sealed/glued.
