Many years ago, AppleCare replacements and AppleCare empty boxes for return couldn't be "held for pickup" at the FedEx locations.

Has this changed?

Has anyone had replacement AirPods (or even an iPhone) recently that you were able to hold for pickup at FedEx?

It will influence me on whether I want to buy AppleCare for my AirPods.

Thanks so much!

As long as you're set up with the carrier, you should be able to hold any package for pickup. It's a carrier set thing, not an Apple option as far as I am aware.

Thanks! :) My experience is some shippers block hold for pickup, but hopefully times have changed!
