So I was searching eBay for a set of AirPods the other day because I'm heading out of town next week and was desperate for a pair to take with me. Most were selling at ridiculous prices and I wasn't willing to pay $300 for a $159 pair of earbuds. So I scoured the internet and saw a post by 9to5 mac, and they announced that AirPods were being sold by AT&T at normal price, with a shipping period of 3-5 days. I quickly went to their website and checked... but within 10 minutes of the article's posting, they were out of stock.

I was heartbroken. I kept refreshing the page hoping for them to magically be in stock. I gave up hope at around 9:00 pm. The next morning I figured "Why not check one last time?" So I did. And they were in stock. I ordered my AirPods - due to be delivered early next week - despite the 6 week waiting period for most people shipping from Apple (I would highly recommend everyone to keep checking their website... they receive random shipments!).

But for those who already own AirPods, what can I expect from them? What should I be aware of and what should I keep in mind for the well-being of my AirPods and for good care of them? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Keep them in a protective case, the charging case gets scratched

I lost them mine and am DYING inside. Holding the phone seems so terrible. Next pair I get (in apparently six weeks) will have a keychain carrying case.

But how will you protect the Podpockets? A case for the case is clearly not enough.

It's a pair of earphones, not a rare antique. ;) Just use them normally, no maintenance required.
