Context: AirPods previously connected to another device other than the Watch (M1 MBP, iPP, IP11. doesn't matter), but not currently connected.
I usually have the APs connected to the MBP last thing in the day before signing off from work. Next morning getting ready to run, I put them in, start playing some music, which, of course, prompts the Watch to connect to some BT device. Choose AirPods, they connect, then the music sounds is slowed down, stutters a bit, then totally cuts out BUT continues to look like it's still playing in the Music app on the watch. This happens when using Siri as well, or any music-playing app (e.g., Radio).
FIX: Toggle BT in Settings, then reconnect APs.
🤷🏼♂️ Already sent feedback to Apple.
