Trying to get the AirPods Pro beta installed (so that I can try Conversation Boost) and I'm running into issues. Running the latest IOS 15 beta, installed the AirPods Pro beta profile on my iPhone 12, running Xcode 13 beta on my M1 MBA (tried multiple versions). The step that bombs out on me is going into Settings > Developer > Pre-Release Beta Firmware, then checking ON next to my APP name. As soon as I click it on it bounces me out of Settings. Tried multiple cables.

Anybody else run into this issue? I realize there probably aren't many here who are interested in running AirPods betas.

I’ve had the same issue. Read on Reddit that erasing your phone will fix the issue. Not sure I want to go that far yet but I’d really like to run the AirPods beta.

Hmmm...might be worth trying this on an old phone that can run IOS 15. ?

Took an old phone and put iOS 15 on it and it “worked”. Settings didn’t crash but it hasn’t actually put the beta firmware onto the AirPods Pro yet.

I tried that but it didn't work for me. But...after installing Beta 5 I was able to go though the install process using my iPhone 12. Like you, still waiting for the firmware to install.

Ok so I finally got it. You have to enable Headphone Accommodations in Settings/Accessibility/AirPod/Your AirPods/Audio Accessibility Settings. It's buried under multiple obscure layers of settings ... Enable the "Hearing" control in Control Center to change settings on the fly.
