Just bought a pair of airpod pros from a sale at Verizon.

However, when trying to purchase Applecare+ on apple and entering the serial number, it's telling me that the item is not eligible.

Is there some other deal cut with Verizon where only Verizon can sell their own warranty or something?

I'd far, far prefer Applecare than some crappy carrier protection.

I have a pair of APP bought through Verizon 4 months ago; I had no problem purchasing AppleCare+ for them on Apple's site.

Just as an update had to call in to Apple and they added it. Not sure why, but they think maybe the date of purchase was never posted over from Verizon or something.
