So ive had them since Friday and I absolutely love them , but I know in June their will be a newer version coming out, my question is do you think that there going to be dramatically different from the current ones? or just some minor tweaks. Cause I did pay a good amount for my pair and I don't want them to be dated in 1 month . Thanks

The only announcement we've had so far is that Apple have said they'll be producing a wireless charging case.

Apart from that I, for one, haven't heard any other rumors of any other changes.

Enjoy them!

Enjoy them! Agree with others, different case to provide for wireless charging and, maybe, some waterproofing. However, I have no problem plugging mine in every other night to charge and I don't wear them in the shower, so good for now, thank you!

Doesn’t appear we are any closer to the release of the next generation.

I had mine for about 6 months and left them in a hotel room somewhere in my weekly travels.

I miss them, but waited until now to see if the next generation were coming in June.

Apparently not.

Ordering a replacement set today.

I am exactly in the same spot but with one difference. I wanted to buy them since when they release but I couldn't. But now I think I can afford it though having new generation sooner is messing with my mind. I searched all the internet and macrumors forums etc. yet didn't find any rumor or any news about it. Still concerned about Apple September event but as far as we know about Apple they should've been leaked something about it :D

What are your thoughts ?

Is newer generation any sooner or should I just get them and enjoy! ?o_O

Go for it! I only got mine 5 months ago and as others have said they are the best product Apple has released in years. They sound good, the charging case is very well designed and if you get into the habit of storing the airpods inside they never run out of power (even 15 minutes in the case will give you a siginficant charge). You only need to charge the case itself once a week or so.

What surprised me about them was that they sound better than I expected and they don't fall out unless knocked / dislodged. I use them at the gym and no matter what position I am in or what I am doing (including jumps etc) they stay in. I actually had way more issues with PowerBeats 3 staying attached to my ears in the gym. Not having the wires is great.

That's what I want to hear exactly! I want to but it more! Thanks for all the info.
