Airpods case lid loose

Is it normal that when the lid is opened on the case that it seems to have a bit of play in it? Thanks

I have zero play on the lid of my charging case. This would be the first I have heard of this as well.

I think it can be somewhat normal. Mine has the tiniest of play. It bothers me if I'm fidgeting with the case in my hand, but other than that I never notice it or care.
