Hi everyone,

Recently I got my AirPods and while I’ve been using them, the charge process has been normal in my opinion. Always when I’ve got them to be used the rated charge was 100% on the earphones and less battery on the case as it’s normal. The problem went when the case rated battery shown 5%. In this time, my earphones weren’t receiving any charge more as if the case rated battery were at 0%... as if the 5% were an hypothetical 0%. Has someone had a similar behavior like that? Any advise?

Thanks in advance guys.

I would not allow your battery case to have a 5% charge, which They can't sufficiently charged the AirPods likely if there is no current to be drawn from the battery case itself. Charge your battery case more often.

First of all, thanks for answering.

Yes, that was what I thought at the beginning but then, how can the people drawn completely the case battery? In some places is shown that to solve some battery issues you need to drawn the battery case completely.

With lithium ion batteries, it's not always healthy to drain the battery completely on a regular basis. You want to make sure that you have somewhat of a sufficient charge. To alleviate your problem, I would make sure at least your AirPod battery case is regularly charged.

Remember, 15 minutes of charging is equivalent to three hours of usage with the AirPods.

Thanks a lot for answering.

Yes, I’ve heard that but from time to time I’d like to drain the battery at all to calibrate the battery and the first time when a get a new device I do it.
