AirPods disconnect

Ever since downloading iOS 14 my AirPods automatically disconnect every time a phone call comes in. I pretty much wear my AirPods all day as I’m in sales and take a lot of calls, I’ll be listening to music connected just fine when a call comes in and it disconnects. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes. Regularly and it makes my AirPods all but useless. Desperately looking for a fix here.

It’s ridiculous. Every time I unlock my phone it annoyingly lets me know “connected” but the second a phone call comes in I have to answer, then toggle on AirPods from the phone menu
