AirPods don’t playback music sometimes but is “connected”

I was using them like usual and then had a phone calll. Phone call wasn’t going through so I changed it to speakerphone. After the call I try to play music and it won’t. Which also reminds me I can’t use them for phone calls anymore . I know it’s not an issue with my phone since my Jaybird Tarah pro runs fine.
