AirPods in stock at Target.com

I got my order in with a delivery date of Thursday! Been checking all websites for 2 days.
 
It is out of stock again. Only in stores.
The airpods is much more popular than its design.
 
Sprint.com has (had?) them. I snagged a pair 30 minutes ago. No you don't need to have Sprint to buy them.
 
Just got my tracking number with confirmed delivery of Thursday. Just keep checking all of the websites and eventually someone will have them in stock.

Thanks dude, just ordered a pair for my girlfriend for New Year's. I got mine today. Here's what happened:

Her: You look stupid with those on, can I try?

- hand her one AirPod -

Her: Wait, let me see the other one.

- hand her the other -

Her: I want them now.

Haha, that's hilarious. I am predicting that is what will happen with my wife. Except she will probably try to just steal mine like she has some of my other bluetooth ear pods.
 
I randomly checked the website and looked for a store nearby that had them in stock. I was able to grab a pair yesterday this way. If you do this, be sure to have the Target employee check the back for them as they are not on the floor yet. The employees don't know much about them, but if they show "in stock" they likely have a couple pairs.
 
I ordered on Tuesday, 12/27 from Target. Received email and tracking number. Fed Ex is saying that label was created on 12/28 with anticipated shipping on 12/28. No other movement has happened. It looks like it is shipping from the town 20 minutes away. Anyone else in the same boat?

What is the delivery date show as on your target order? Did you use standard, 2 day or express? My wife ordered some stuff from them for xmas and used the free standard shipping and it was pretty slow. They may have generated the label but Target may take a couple days to actually ship. That's why I did express on my airpods order, I had a gift card anyway so how I justified the $15 fee.

It just shows as pending. I am doing the standard shipping.

Yeah, I don't think anything is wrong, I just think from my experience their free shipping is slow. I remember with my wife's order it was about 7-8 days after she ordered that it came.

In contrast I did the express shipping on the order I got in this morning and mine has already shipped with a confirmed delivery date of tomorrow.

Gotcha. Not really in too big of a rush. I already got my pair last week. These are a gift for my brother lol.
 
Just happened to check target that day (12/27) and with $15.00 express shipping received my pair this morning. Very impressed with the airpods.
 
Check Target as often as you can if you don't want to wait, early morning is probably a good time. I checked for about a day, and nothing. Woke up this morning saw one of my local store says available (brickseeker indicated there are three), went down and got one. There was already a guy in front of me, and third guy showed up by the time I found them.

Haha, nice. My wife likes her big headphone, but she was pretty impressed by the Airpod.
 
Target.com says you can only buy them in stores... how are you guys ordering these?

They only show available online when they have them in stock. Usually for just a few minutes at a time. Just have to catch it at the right time and be lucky. I used their app on my iPhone with apple pay and it took 30 secs to order and pay when I saw them available. I just got in a habit of checking them throughout the day since others had luck
 
I just got my pair!!! I went to target.com and a store about 1 hour away had them in stock so I called and had them held for me until I could get there.
