AirPods Left Behind message? Why? I have them in my ears, case in pocket.

As the title says... Why do I constantly get this stupid message? Was just shopping, had them in my ears, and the case in my jacket pocket. Get this message all the time. Why? It is very annoying. BTW...I have AirPods Pro 2's.

I've had weird things after OS updates this time,
Last time, kept getting alerts that unknown AirTags were traveling with me, but they were all mine. AirPods were also doing weird things.
