Hey everyone. So I just got myself a shiny new pair of AirPods last week and so far I'm loving them a lot more than I thought I would. My only concern is their longevity. I am very careful with my electronics/gadgets, but when it comes to the original EarPods, I have NEVER owned a pair that lasted longer than 5 months no matter how I babied them. On average, after 3 months, they would start getting quieter and quieter until one side (usually the left) sputtered out and died. If the same thing were to happen to my $219 (Canadian) AirPods, I would be super pissed. I'm hoping it was mostly the cheap, flimsy cords on the EarPods that always led to their untimely demise.

So my question is, have any of you owned the AirPods since launch (or near launch) and they're still going strong? Or have any of you had yours die within the nine or so months that you've owned them? (Assuming you've taken reasonably good care of them.)

I have had mine since December. No issues what so ever. I charge mine regularly and have had no issues with connectivity or audio. The latest firmware updates have only made the Airpods better as well with audio improvements. Battery life has been stable with the Airpods and battery case as well.

Easily one of the best products I purchased within the last six months.

I've had mine about 4 months now. Still working as well as the day I got them.

I just recently started wearing them when I exercise. I had been too nervous at first, since they aren't rated as sweat/water resistant. However, I just can't see buying another pair of headphones for exercising. Decided I'll take the slight risk. That'll be the ultimate test for me.

Mine died in the first day. :)
The Right Pod stopped charging the first night.
The replacemenet pod arrived today and I'm really excited now again. I only played with them like 1 day.
Hope this one lasts more than 12 hours.

BTW Apple moved pretty fast in my country :
Purchased the Aipods almost 2 weeks ago, arrived in one day.
I thought I would wait like 4 or 5 weeks.
The replacement Pod took more, like 10 days.

I believe that Apple had the AirPods somehow by mircale in stock here in Romania and that why it took only 1 day to arrive but they had to ship the replacement pod from China.

Been using mine since day one at the gym, hiking, running, not a single issues and I've had mine for over 2 months and of my 5-6 workouts a week I usually use them for up to 4 workouts and use my solo 3's for one or two of the other days
