AirPods Max 2 to be announced on 8th December?

Sorry, note the question mark As Apple announced AirPods Max on December 8, 2020, do you think they will announce Max 2 in 2 days time? I know all the rumours say late next year, but I have a gut feeling, or is that a want? 😂

not saying it won't happen, but there probably quite a few first gen maxes wrapped with pretty paper right now, and most of them are probably eligible for return, since apple allows items purchased between Nov 3 and Dec 25 to be returned through January 8.

the maxes were originally released in December, but if those went under the tree, people wouldn't be opening the old model on Christmas morning. and returning to swap for a new model the next day.

100% not. All the rumours from analysts suggest Q3-Q4 2024, more likely towards the end of next year.

I'm so certain, I just bought a set of 'nearly new' ones in mint condition with 11 months warranty on them. Only paid £330, which isn't bad.
