AirPods Max cable connection?

Hello, I was wondering is it possible to connect the AirPods Max direct to a product that dose not support Bluetooth? For example somthing with a 3.5mm jack on it?

Are you able to use a cable from the Max to a Product with 3.5mm jack and still hear audio?

You can use Apple's Lightning to 3.5mm cable:
