Hi everyone

If you've read my other thread, I know what you're thinking. It's that guy who tries to fix everything using little round bits of sticky stuff. Well, humour me for a minute.

Loving my new APM but not loving how every time I pull them out of their purse or pick them up with the cushions flat, they knock together like the world's most expensive set of castanets.

So I thought I'd try and find the most unobtrusive way possible to protect the sides from damage. I can't stop them knocking together, but at least with this I don't have to worry about my AirPods getting scratched up.

Just grab a hole punch and some 3M film – any device skin (DBrand etc) will do. You'll need four small dots. Just punch them out and stick them on as follows:

They look glaringly obvious in the image but they're pretty unobtrusive in real life. With mine positioned like this, there's never a point where aluminium is knocking against aluminium.

Solving a non-existent problem? Maybe, depending on how much you like the sound of aluminium knocking together. But thought I'd share. Enjoy!
