Has anyone noticed an issue with the AirPods Max not auto-pausing when removing from your head when using on a Mac? It works fine with my iPod, but on the Mac, music keeps playing. I've checked the bluetooth settings and Head Detection IS turned on.
I've rebooted the Mac and reset the APM's. Still no change.
Just curious if this is a common issue or just me.

Thanks,
Doug

I've had this happen, I fixed it by clicking the 'Connect' button on the notification popup when you first put them on your head (in MacOS)

It worked as expected after I did that, shrug

I don't have the Max's, but my AirPod's Pro just started to do this on my Mac. This doesn't happen on my iPhone or iPad.

Is it solved? I am having the same issue as you described above, not sure what is the reason. Please let me know if you found the solution to it.
