I am picking up my AirPods Max tomorrow. I am working from home, and spend a lot of time on conference calls and Zoom, Syple, Webex, Skype, etc. Most of the time, I do not need to be watching the screen continuously, and will walk around the house. However, I need to chime into the conversation pretty regularly.

I suspect the AirPod Max will not have a mute function. Does anyone think Apple will ever make a software upgrade to give this option while on an audio call? It seems they are out of touch with the work from home crowd.

Anything is possible but I don’t see it because AirPods Mike’s aren’t really meant to be used as a work from home headset. Perhaps this would be a good suggestion to Apple though because it is a headset and even though it’s meant for music it could be used for the function
