Just noticed that there isn't a specific thread dedicated for the UK, and it's hard going through the posts in the other thread that have a lot of US-specific info.
Nonetheless, thought I'd also share my experience. At first I wasn't a huge fan of what Apple decided to charge for these headphones. To be honest, I still am unhappy. But, I am a huge audio fanatic. On pre-order day, by the time I decided to get the headphones, the wait was 12-14 weeks for the black (the colour I wanted). So I decided not to pre-order them. I check the Apple store this morning at 7am (it was a casual check, I had zero expectation of anything being available), and the Apple store in Kingston had one last black one available! I assume it was the last one since the moment I reserved it, it was no longer available. At the store also when I asked them, they had less than 3 in stock this morning.
I just got back from the store. Will give myself until the first week of January to like them, else I will give them back
Will post my impressions and more pics later when I open them.
