So I just received my AirPods Max and I’m shocked how uncomfortable they are on my head. I don’t have a big head really, but the pressure they add around my ears is unreal. I can feel my heart beat when I wear them. Maybe it’s a defect I’m not sure, but I cannot wear for more than 3 min or my temple start hurting.

I wore the qc35 and 700 before at the smallest size with no issue

Anyone had a similar experience?

Many people here have experienced the same thing. If I am not mistaken, @LongWayHome talked about this in his review.

Oh you’re right and I’ll ty to stretch them to see if it improves. I think I linked to my jaws bones. I removed them 1h ago and it still hurts

I have the exact same issue. I'm planning on returning mine sometime in the next couple of weeks. I'm not in any big hurry and am going to keep wearing them just to see if they do get any more comfortable.
