I play in a band and we rehearse w a mixing rig, all players have in-ear or over ear headphones for monitoring while playing.
I want to use my AirPods Max while i rehearse.

I have (2) two questions:

#1. Since my AirPods didn't come w cable for wired hookup what should I be looking for to connect back to the house (for monitoring while we rehearse), all I see on the AirPods is headphones is a lightning slot?

#2. I figure Apple should have a jack but they're typically expensive - so what'd be a functional alternative (preferably on Amazon), if any?

*mind you I have other headphones they all primarily came w a wired chord (3.5mm or 1/4") on one end, and a headphone hookup (they vary) either a 3.5mm female (wireless BOSE from Costco), or a typical android slot (wireless SONY from Costco ), or mfg configured plug-in (wired AMD from Guitar Center).

Before I rehearse, all I do is simply connect my existing headphones - plug to an adapter (usually 1/4 TRS extension chord with a 1/4 TRS that plugs into the headphone amp crate) plug em' in and I'm good to go.

You input is appreciated. I'm not that technically savvy so any simply answer will help, or be detailed if you have THE solutions.

#1 You need Apple's Lightning to 3.5 mm Audio cable.
Then proceed using your adapter as with your existing headphones with 3.5mm (male) connector.

#2 There may be very few 3rd party cables but I have not found/tested any.
You explicitly need one with 3.5mm Input and Lightning Output, not the other way around.

This makes sense! The $35 Apple 3.5mm input & Lightening output works like a charm! True again, so far I can’t find and various suppliers dont carry this type chord - just Apple (if anyone finds or knows of please post-i can always use extras).

Thanks for your expertise and recommendation!
