Hi guys
unfortunately on my office computer the bluetooth function is disabled. it only works when you have a specific system (like a Logitech mouse for example with the dongle). I work in a Swiss bank, this is a security issue.
But I really would love to use the AirPods Max for my Skype calls. Now I heard that the Lightning to 3.5mm cable won't work because there si no mic functionality.
Is there some third party cable with mic functionality or something like that? Or do you have a clue, how I could get that to work? (still waiting for my Airpods to ship)
Thanks

Could you just plug in a simple USB mic independent of the headphones? Or would an unapproved USB accessory also not be allowed?

that would probably work but is not that convenient. We work in an open space office (about 60-70 desks) and you sit in another place every day, depending on who you work with. It's a clean desk policy, so there's nothing on the desk besides 2 monitors and a docking station.
Right now at home this works fine, but as soon as we start working back in the office, the less i carry around the better.
