I have a question I hope some of you who have recieved the AirPods Max can answer; How do you initiate pairing mode with them for conneting to Windows laptops, Android phones etc? I can't find a user manual or support page for the headphones at Apple.com with an answer to this.

And my next question is how they perform with non-Apple devices?

I will recieve my Airpods Max on 21. december and will be using them with an iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPad 11 Pro and Macbook Pro 13 but also my Dell laptop from work with Windows 10 and a HP Desktop computer with Windows 10. So I hope it works okay with Windows also even though I won't get some features like fast swapping between devices as in the Apple eco-system.

I use a Jabra Link 370 usb-reciever which for a better experience with meetings on MS Teams/Skype for business on the Windows laptop with my Airpods Pro and regular Airpods, so I hope it will support the Airpods Max also.

“Press the noise control button until the light blinks white. In Bluetooth settings, choose AirPods Max.”

Not used them with any non Apple devices yet though. If I do, it will be my LG tv.

Thank you for the info, is this from the user guide which came with the headphones or has Apple posted it on their site?

It’s word for word from the insert that came with the packaging.

How has the Jabra Link 370 worked with the Airpods Max? I am interested in purchasing that because Airpods Max sound and mic quality in MS Teams (Win) is terrible...

Here's a pro-tip. Win+K combo brings up a quick bluetooth sidebar for quick connection with paired headphones.
