Heard rumors of AirPods Max getting a “lite” version… hopefully they get released soon. I can see this being like another HomePod situation.

Those are old rumors that never got corroborated. I think the current lineup is here to stay for some time, except for an AirPods Pro update next year. I do hope they don’t give up on over the ear headphones, and just mildly refresh them every few years.

Hope mine last. AC+ just to be safe. I’m hoping we see a v2 with USB-C, MagSafe/a proper case, and some mild water resistance. Seems feasible.
