Airpods Not Connecting to iMac

I just got my Airpods in and I am using them on my iPhone but wanted to use them on my iMac. It states that the Airpods, once synced with your iPhone, will be usable across all devices signed into that Apple ID. I checked my account and I am logged onto the only iCloud account I have on my iPhone 7+, iPad Pro, and iMac. The iMac doesnt let me select them though. I am on 10.2, my iMac is on Sierra as well but I am not sure what is going on.

Any ideas would be appreciated!!


EDIT:: SIGNED OUT AND SIGNED BACK IN ON MY COMPUTER AND IT WORKED

Where are you seeing them on your Mac to select? Where do you go?
