I'm sure this will get lost in the explosion of "what color case are you getting for your iPhone 11" threads (I'm getting black :D) but I just sold my iPhone Xs which got a couple hours of Airpod use without issue and temporarily paired them with my old temporary iPhone 6+ till my 11 comes in. After 30 minutes both airpods were DEAD.

Does this have something to do with the iPhone 6 bluetooth version? The airpods are only a month old and were fine until I switched to the 6 yesterday.

Hmmm, interesting because mine are also 2nd gen (and maybe 2 mos old). Maybe they weren't charged (although they were in the charger for 2 days and the LED was green). Will give it another shot tomorrow.
