AirPods Play/Pause double tap bug

I now own the 2nd Gen AirPods. I have them set to double tap on the left AirPod to Play/Pause and double tap on the right AirPod to skip to the next track. But I noticed when watching YouTube videos or any other content on my iPhone and I want to pause the video, I double tap the left AirPod to pause (that part works as it should), then double tap again to resume playing the video - my AirPods start playing my Music...instead of resuming the YouTube video. :mad:

I never had this issue with my 1st Gen AirPods. If I were to double tap on the left AirPod it would pause and resume the video content I'm currently watching, not start playing random music from my music app.
